Klimber + RIL

With RIL, we work on environmental projects that improve quality of life in cities, promoting greener and more sustainable spaces.

#Environmental Pillar

At Klimber, we believe that it is of little use for people to have insurance that protects their physical integrity if they live in an unhealthy environment with pollution, water shortages, lack of natural resources, poor air quality, or frequent flooding.

Through the Urban Forest program, we carry out a reforestation campaign in towns and cities across Argentina. Like many other companies committed to environmental protection, biodiversity, and the fight against climate change, we lead this initiative with a unique focus: planting trees in populated areas. This approach maximizes both environmental and social impact, as urban trees help reduce greenhouse gas concentrations, reverse the “heat island” effect, slow rainwater runoff and prevent flooding, create windbreaks, enrich biodiversity, and increase the number of parks and green spaces. Altogether, urban greenery improves quality of life, multiplying the positive “service” each tree provides.

Between 2022 and 2023, we planted more than 3,000 trees in 42 localities, and for 2024 we plan to add another 1,000 specimens across 10 more cities.

The towns and cities that now have native trees planted in their parks, avenues, sidewalks, and schools are:

2022 – Campo Santo, Catriel, Corrientes, General Alvarado, Jesús María, Laprida, Las Flores, Las Heras, Lomas de Zamora, Rawson, San José, Colón Department, San Luis, San Salvador de Jujuy, Catamarca, Sunchales, Venado Tuerto, and Wanda.
The number of people benefiting from these communities was +918,000 individuals.

2023 – Angastaco, Bahía Blanca, Brandsen, Catriló, Chascomús, Ramona, Cnel. Dorrego, Florentino Ameghino, Mercedes, Monte Nievas, Pergamino, San Vicente, Tornquist, and Villarino.
The number of people benefiting from these communities was +680,000 individuals.
