Klimber works together with The Trust for The Americas (an entity affiliated with the OAS) to close the gap in digital and financial skills across the countries where we operate.

One of the many initiatives we lead to promote equal opportunities is the “POETA Social Franchise.” Through this program, we provide tools that foster digital and financial inclusion for vulnerable populations.

Currently, this collaboration benefits more than 3.5 million people who are now part of the POETA network across Latin America.

How did we achieve this?

So far, we have funded three POETA classrooms – two in Argentina (one in Luján de Cuyo and another in Buenos Aires City) and one in Brazil, in Curitiba.

POETA CLASSROOM – KLIMBER ARGENTINA – Luján de Cuyo:

Through the collaboration between Klimber, the NGO Valos, and the Municipality of Luján de Cuyo, we established a classroom at the “Centro de Integración Comunitaria de Agrelo.” In this space, members of the local vulnerable community receive training in essential digital skills needed for entrepreneurship and the job market.

POETA CLASSROOM – KLIMBER ARGENTINA – Villa Soldati:

In the southern area of Buenos Aires, we financed a classroom managed by the NGO Hogar de Cristo, which supports young people and adults facing substance abuse challenges. In this space, participants receive technological training to help them reenter the workforce and gain access to new employment opportunities.

POETA CLASSROOM – KLIMBER BRAZIL – Curitiba:

This new area at UNILEHU University offers innovation training for young people and adults in vulnerable situations. Co-created with The Trust for The Americas, MetLife, the OAS, and Microsoft, this classroom – opened in August 2024 – provides opportunities to develop skills in innovation, 3D printing, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
